Somewhere between a pig and a dog but lacking the nobility of either.

Just another broken man bumbling his way through life, trying and failing to do no harm in the process. He realises this makes him a blight on society. He is getting professional help though he can’t tell if it’s working.

In the sounds of old country blues, gospel and mountain music he hears the echo of that suffering but also something that feels like hope, and this inspires him to keep on writing and playing, at least for now.

He proudly traces his bloodlines to the Butchulla and Darug people of Australia’s First Nations and he prays that a fragment of that deep spirituality finds its way into his songs.

He has been at this caper for a long time.

He has messed up a lot.
